The International School City includes an elementary school (no kindergarten), a college, and a high school. Schooling is free at the elementary school; The books are provided. The teaching is divided into 18 hours of French and 6 hours of teaching in the national language. The average enrollment is 510 pupils in 19 classes with an average of 26 pupils per class.
Schooling at the international school:
The Muscat international school welcomes children from the CP to the CM2 and provides an education by the programs of the National Education, at the rate of 6 pm in French with 6 hours of foreign language courses by foreign professors. Children play sports (CPs and CE1s go to the pool). There is no Internat at the International School City. Students do not wear uniforms.
Students who do not master French or who are only partially practicing are admitted to French language schooling (FSL) or support classes. The number of pupils in FSL classes is of course reduced.

In Oman, children do not wear uniforms in public schools. They must be dressed in a decent and practical manner. To avoid losses, clothing and supplies must be marked on behalf of the child. Unnecessary objects or games at school are forbidden (game-boy, Tamagotchi, MP3 player...)
It is not advisable to entrust children with clothing or supplies of too great a price that they could damage or lose.

Make sure that the binders can receive the 24cm x 32cm notebooks and consider renewing the used, misplaced or lost personal equipment during the year.
Textbooks and notebooks are provided by the school. They must be covered and maintained in good condition. Books may be borrowed from the BCD; The pupil is responsible and must make them in perfect condition.
